Unveiled in India, the new Samsung Galaxy F36 5G boasts premium features, maintaining an affordable price tag under ₹20,000.
The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G, a mid-range device designed for India, has been launched with a host of impressive features.
At its core, the Galaxy F36 5G runs on the 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, an octa-core processor with a configuration of 4x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, ensuring efficient multitasking and decent gaming performance.
The device boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, delivering vivid visuals and smooth scrolling. The display also features an Infinity-U notch, providing ample space for the device's front camera.
The camera setup is another standout feature of the Galaxy F36 5G. The rear camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture, capable of 4K video recording. Accompanying this is an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is a 13MP sensor also supporting 4K video capture.
In terms of security, the Galaxy F36 5G comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Samsung Knox Vault, and Voice Focus. The device also offers connectivity features including 5G (SA/NSA), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB-C.
The Galaxy F36 5G is available in three colours: Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, with the hybrid slot supporting expansion up to 2TB.
Samsung has committed to six years of software and security updates for the Galaxy F36 5G, shipping the device with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box. The device also features smart AI enhancements and promises six OS upgrades for longer software support.
The Galaxy F36 5G draws power from a 5000mAh battery supporting fast charging up to 25W, but the charging adapter is not included in the box. The device went on sale on July 29, 2025, via Flipkart and Samsung's online store in India.
Launch offers for the Galaxy F36 5G include a Discount of ₹1000 on bank card payments and an additional ₹500 coupon offer, bringing the starting price down to ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants are available for ₹18,999 and ₹21,999, respectively. The device also features a premium leather-textured back finish.
