The SeaLife SportDiver Underwater Housing for iPhone is an advanced smartphone housing designed for underwater photography and video, compatible with virtually all smartphones, including iPhones 8 and later models.
Key Features
The housing offers universal compatibility, fitting most smartphones, including iPhone 8 and newer, and larger Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy Ultra series. It has dimensions of approximately 8.4” x 4.9” x 2.2” (213.1 mm x 125.7 mm x 54.8 mm), with an internal space size accommodating phones up to around 6.49" length.
Designed for superior performance and reliability in underwater environments, the housing features a secure sealing system. The door is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock sealing latch. To prevent interior fogging, the housing uses the anti-fogging agent "Moisture Muncher" capsule.
The housing is constructed of Polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminum, and optical grade glass, ensuring durability and reliability. It includes a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for easy operation.
Enhanced Design and Functionality
The Ultra version offers numerous improvements over the original SportDiver model, providing better usability and function. The housing allows divers to take photos and videos underwater down to 130 feet or 40 meters.
The housing automatically connects to the iPhone and the SportDiver app using Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5 wireless technology. Users can adjust Zoom, Exposure (EV), Auto/Manual Focus, White Balance, Tint, Lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode, Live Photo, and Background Blur.

The SeaLife SportDiver Pro 2500 Set includes all the components of the SeaLife SportDiver Underwater Housing for iPhone, plus additional equipment such as a 25Wh Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, AC Power Adapter, charging tray, international plug adapters, a Sea Dragon 2500 Underwater Video Light, tray, and handle. The SeaLife SportDiver Pro 2500 Set retails for $649.95.
The SeaLife SportDiver Underwater Housing for iPhone retails for around $299.95. The housing comes with a sturdy holding spring and rubber grip tabs for phone safety and protection. It also includes a free SeaLife SportDiver camera app for iOS 12 and up.
The housing is available now at Bluewater Photo. Deliveries of the housing are planned to start in November, 2020.
