TVU Networks Launches SaaS Platform for Media Cloud Management
TVU Networks has launched a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for media organizations to manage cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. The platform, priced at $98 per month with additional charges only for specific microservices used during active production, offers a range of features to simplify iCloud login and reduce costs.
The platform provides UDX for Up/Down/Cross-Conversion, browser-based video scopes, and manual or AI-powered color correction. It supports integration with various standards, including NDI, SRT, SMPTE ST 2110, SDI, MPTS, and others. Broadcasters can achieve significant cost savings, with France Télévisions reporting up to 92% savings using the platform.
The platform includes a virtual Network Operations Center (NOC) for real-time visibility and control of media pipelines. This NOC provides operational control across diverse infrastructure setups, extending beyond traditional cloud offerings. The aim is to make iCloud adoption more transparent and cost-effective for media enterprises.
TVU Networks' SaaS platform offers a comprehensive solution for media organizations to manage their enterprise infrastructure. With its wide range of features and potential for significant cost savings, as demonstrated by Costco, it presents an attractive option for media enterprises looking to simplify their iCloud adoption.
