The TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of its annual national design initiative, the TVS Indus Design Honours, on August 4, 2025. This initiative, aimed at identifying and developing young talent in mobility design across India, is now open for registrations.
The TVS Indus Design Honours, first launched in 2025, encourages students, young professionals, and design enthusiasts to create innovative, culturally rooted, and globally relevant concepts for monowheel, two-wheeler, and three-wheeler mobility formats. The initiative draws inspiration from India's rich design heritage symbolized by the Indus Valley Civilization, blending tradition with future-focused innovation.
This year's edition of the TVS Indus Design Honours is themed around the regions Thar, Sahyadri, Kutch, and Mumbai. The aim is to ignite a global conversation on the future of mobility, while promoting design among Indian youth and nurturing talent from both design and non-design backgrounds.
Participants have until October 6, 2025, to submit their designs. The winners will be announced soon after, with cash prizes up to ₹5 lakh, a Viewers' Choice award, and potential internships with the TVS design team up for grabs.
