Toyota's 2026 GR Corolla Launches This Fall With Racing-Bred Power

Toyota's GAZOO Racing division is set to launch the 2026 GR Corolla this fall. The sport compact, developed based on racing experience and track testing, will be available via Toyota's official dealer network in Germany.

The new GR Corolla boasts 45.6 feet of structural adhesive for enhanced rigidity and improved rear grip. Power remains at 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque from its turbocharged 2.0-liter three-cylinder engine. A high-rev-activated air duct reduces engine temperatures during extended track drives.

The base model starts at $39,920 for the six-speed manual and $41,960 for the automatic. The top-level Premium Plus trim costs $45,965 and $47,965 respectively. Both come with GR-Four all-wheel-drive and front/rear Torsen limited-slip differentials. The Premium Plus also includes a JBL Premium sound system with a subwoofer and Active Sound Control.

The 2026 GR Corolla will be offered in two trims: base and Premium Plus. With updates based on racing experience and track testing, it promises improved performance and enhanced features. Sales start soon, with first deliveries expected this fall.
