The hospital's new ward tour was featured on "World Toyota News," showcasing the Potaro transport robots, a central staff station, and mobile devices that notify patients. These innovations are intended to help staff serve patients more efficiently.

The road to the opening day of the new ward was not detailed, but Naomi Kuroda, Assistant Head Nurse at Toyota Memorial Hospital, and Yoji Akiba, head of the TPS/Kaizen Promotion Group, had candid discussions to gain a deeper understanding of the kaizen project.
