Title: Unveiling the Top Robots Showcased at CES 2025

At CES 2025, the robots graced the event with a fresh dose of adorableness, boasting more advanced AI than some might find palatable.

Title: Unveiling the Top Robots Showcased at CES 2025

At CES 2025, robots were still making their round, but instead of showcasing significant advancements in mobility, they were more focused on winning over the crowd's hearts in an adorable fashion.

Last year's robots brought forth humanoid models, such as Unitree's H1 and Enchanted Tools' Mirokai, both making a comeback this year with minor improvements and AI chatbots in tow. Smaller companies weren't left behind, with Samsung and TCL rolling in with their robot-filled smart homes, filled with AI vision and text-based models.

Yukai Engineering Mirumi

Pocket-sized and hairy, the Yukai Engineering Mirumi isn't here to answer your queries or attend your meetings. Instead, it's tasked with capturing some of that delicious innocent cuteness. It sits in your pocketbook, keeping an eye on your surroundings while its arms can be positioned in various positions to scare the life out of any unsuspecting victims entering your room. And blissfully, it's content just being cute.

Metapet Noono

Bring home a piece of the pet hamster revolution with Metapet's Noono AI robotic pet hamster. It reacts when you pet it, with its back arcing like a real hamster, and gets drained and rejuvenated with its baby carrier-like basket. It may shine bright like a disco-ball hamster, but who said progress couldn't be a little... obscure?

Samsung Ballie

It was last year's star, but with updated AI, Ballie jumped up on its wheeled derby and improved response times. With its projector screen, users can interact with the bot, ensuring instant gratification when it comes to the "wine recommendation" activity that Samsung tossed at it during the demonstration. Just waiting for the official release date and cost information, Ballie!

TCL AiMe

TCL presented its AiMe, an adorable robot with three AI cores allowing it to roll dynamically, communicate through AI sound and speech, and operate as an on-the-go AI connection when its mini core is detached. Operating on the "cuteness" principle, the AiMe doesn't really show off its prowess, but it's a nice glimpse into the future where cute robots run rampant.

Galbot Convenience Store Bot

Nvidia, always one to show off, presented Galbot and its new GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards during its CES 2025 demo. With the feature to grasp items, sprint, and drop treats into waiting hands, Galbot successfully navigated a shelf full of candy, but the unfortunate truth is that no one allowed the candy to be a prize.

Unitree Go2 Robot Dog

Unitree's two-legged G1 model was shunned during the previous year's CES, so the team brought forth their quadrupedal robot, Go 2, which was perfectly ready to put on a performance. The dog bot demonstrated walking on two legs, standing on its hind legs, and flipping with a simple command. With an ultra-wide LiDAR sensor for environment monitoring, the Go 2 can be yours for just $1,600.

Jzai Mi-Mo

A six-legged table with an attached lamp certainly didn't scare away visitors. With its AI vision models to interact with the environment, the Mi-Mo moves around at a decent speed, even if not as fast as its competitors.

Roborock Saros Z70

Omnigrip-equipped, the Roborock Saros Z70 is now a household robovac that can even pick up misplaced socks. It may not be the speediest of cleaners, but with a price point suitable to most budgets, it's still a welcome addition to average homes.

Enrichment Data:

  • LOOI Robot: A robotic companion that can be personalized using smartphone integration and modular attachments, with gesture recognition for intuitive control.
  • Samsung’s Ballie: An upgraded, AI-enabled robot that integrates seamlessly with smart home devices, offers autonomous navigation, and exhibits versatile functionalities.
  • ElliQ Social Robot: A social companion targeted towards the elderly, reconnecting them with friends and family through interactions, reminders, and companionship.
  • Unitree G1 and Robodogs: Humanoid models that commanded attention from attendees and content creators, used for selfies and engagements.
  • Agility Robotics’ Digit: A humanoid designed to perform real-world tasks in warehousing demonstrations at the Schaeffler and Accenture booths.
  • Apptronik’s Apollo: A humanoid targeting advancements in industrial use, improving efficiency through pick-and-place tasks in factories.
  • Tombot’s Jennie: An AI-powered pet companion offering comfort and relieving feelings of loneliness through its pet dog-like behavior.
  • SiLC Technologies’ Eyeonic Trace: A 3D laser camera for warehouse applications, producing submillimeter-accurate images of items.
  • Pollen Robotics’ Reachy 2: A teleoperated platform with arm attachments, designed for research and AI foundation model training.
  • 4D1’s Indoor GPS: A ceiling-mounted navigation system for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

In the future, technology might see a shift in focus, with robots not just showcasing advancements in mobility but also aiming to connect with people on an emotional level. The Yukai Engineering Mirumi, a pocket-sized robot, exemplifies this change, intended to bring joy and innocence rather than function as a chatbot or assistant.

Advancing technology will also impact pet care, as seen with Metapet's Noono AI robotic pet hamster, which reacts to petting and mimics a real hamster's behavior, adding a unique twist to the pet hamster trend.
