Thinnew Smartwatch Launched by Garmin, Sporting Largest Display in Brand's History
Swipe Right for the Ultimate Fusion:
Garmin just dropped a bombshell on the wearables scene with the Venu X1 - a top-tier smartwatch that merges the finest tech from its flagship multi-sport watches into a sleeker, more streamlined form factor.
This guy boasts Garmin's largest display ever, a massive 2-inch square AMOLED panel, all housed within an ultrathin 8mm casing. That makes it slimmer than most Garmin watches, and the screen size rivals titans like the Fenix 8 or Enduro 3.
At a mere 34g (40g with ComfortFit band) and boasting a lightweight titanium case, sapphire lens, and a rectangular design with round corners, the Venu X1 is a chic departure from Garmin's typical rugged, round aesthetics.
Designed for daily wear, it still packs a punch with some serious outdoor smarts, like an LED flashlight borrowed from the Fenix and Epix series, which provides extra visibility in the dark.
Sports a built-in speaker and microphone for hands-free calls and voice assistant integration. You can even initiate certain voice commands straight from the watch without needing your phone.
New font size options, customizable watch faces, and a 24mm ComfortFit nylon strap highlight the improvements, ensuring a secure and comfy fit for all-day wear.
The Venu X1's software experience is updated with familiar Garmin mainstays like Training Readiness, preloaded maps, and smart notifications. You'll have up to 8 days, or even more, of battery life in smartwatch mode, impressive considering the watch's bright and slender design.
Launching later this June, the Venu X1 will be available in either black or moss green and goes for £679.99/ $799.99/ AU$ 1,499.
