Tesla's FSD v13.2.1 Rolls Out in Canada, Bringing Enhanced Autonomy to Cybertruck
Tesla has rolled out a significant software update, version 2024.39.15, featuring Full Self-Driving (FSD) version 13.2.1. This marks the first time FSD v13 has reached Canadian drivers and the Cybertruck. The update, primarily a bug fix from v13.2 for Model S3XY owners, also brings notable enhancements. FSD v13.2.1 is initially available for vehicles equipped with the latest HW4/AI4 computers, with no release date yet for older HW3/AI3 computers. In Canada, the first recipients of this update have been identified, though specific details about them remain unknown. Early tests reveal improved driving behaviours and increased autonomy, with FSD v13.2.1 capable of completing long drives without human intervention. The Cybertruck's FSD can now shift between Reverse, Drive, and Park, enabling autonomous maneuvers like three-point turns. Tesla began rolling out the update on Sunday afternoon, making it an early Christmas gift for Canadian owners, as FSD v13 typically arrives later in the Great White North. Tesla's official release of FSD v13.2.1, part of the software update 2024.39.15, brings enhanced driving capabilities and increased autonomy to Canadian and Cybertruck owners. Upon reaching a destination, FSD will now search for an open parking spot nearby, further improving convenience.
