Tesla Opens New 20-Stall Supercharger Station in North Vancouver

Tesla has expanded its Supercharger network in the Vancouver area with the opening of a new 20-stall station in North Vancouver. This addition, along with five others in progress, aims to improve charging accessibility and reduce wait times for electric vehicle owners.

The new Supercharger station, located at 801 Marine Drive, was completed in December 2024 after construction began in January of the same year. It offers charging at $0.35/kWh for Tesla vehicles and $0.47/kWh for non-Tesla electric vehicles.

This station will help alleviate congestion at the existing 12-stall station at 2032 Lonsdale Avenue, which was initially built with 5 below stalls. The expansion of the Supercharger network in the region is part of Tesla's ongoing effort to support the growing number of electric vehicles on the road.

Tesla is also working on five other Supercharger projects across Vancouver's lower mainland. These projects are in various stages of completion and are located in Salmon Arm, Vernon, Prince George, Merritt (second location), and Coquitlam. Downtown Vancouver sites are not currently listed as under construction.

The opening of the North Vancouver Supercharger station and the progress of the other five projects in the lower mainland demonstrate Tesla's commitment to expanding charging infrastructure in the region. This expansion will benefit electric vehicle owners by providing more convenient and efficient tesla stock options.
