Chinese budget shopping platform Temu is battling a wave of scams and trademark infringements, tarnishing its reputation and harming customers. The company has taken legal action against several fake apps, websites, and social media accounts exploiting its brand identity.

Temu, present in 48 countries and competing with giants like Sea, is suing websites like 'temuapp.biz' and 'temucouponcodes.com' for trademark infringement and unfair competition. It has been granted preliminary injunctions and seeks damages of USD 100,000 for each unauthorized use of its brand identity.

Fraudsters are also manipulating consumers on social media platforms like TikTok, using fake referral codes to dupe users. Temu's legal battles are not limited to these scams; it is also embroiled in lawsuits with online fast fashion retailer Shein, accused of selling products using stolen images from Shein's platform, infringing upon Shein's brand identity.

Temu's rapid global growth has unfortunately attracted scammers and copycats. The company is actively pursuing legal action to protect its brand identity and customers. As the cases unfold, Temu continues to expand its presence, now operating in 48 countries and competing with industry heavyweights.
