It's time I spill the beans on my new venture, shifting to Scrivener for my multi-blog endeavors. I've crafted a free, customizable template for fellow bloggers looking to streamline their content management. This bad boy lets you handle numerous blogs all within one project file, offering a bird's-eye view of your entire blogging empire!
Introducing the Multi-Blog Scrivener Template
In this template, you'll find three sample blog folders, ready for customization according to your unique set-up. Here's a breakdown of the structure:
"Business" and "Niche" blogs follow a date-based organization structure, while the "Personal" blog utilizes a category-based one. Take a peek at the Binder view to get a feel for this versatile template.
In addition to these blogs, you'll find folders for editorial calendars and blog post ideas, each with documents tailored to your individual blogs. It's like my single-blog template on steroids! The only missing piece is the Outlines folder, which would've gotten a bit too complex with multiple blogs, so I recommend keeping outlines directly within your initial draft files in each blog's main folder.
This template excellently caters to both Windows and Mac users.
Wanna give it a whirl? Download the .zip file (compressed) above, decompress it, then create a new Scrivener project. Instead of choosing an existing template, opt for "import templates" from the options menu at the lower left of your window. After importing the file, you'll find it among your other templates when creating a new project (under the "miscellaneous" section).
