TCL Unveils QM8K Television and New Audio Devices
TCL Announces Flagship Mini-LED TV and New Audio Products
Television manufacturer TCL has unveiled a new addition to its Precise Dimming Series, the QM8K TV, along with several new audio products, including the company's first party speakers.
The QM8K, a successor to the QM851G, introduces TCL's own CrystGlow WHVA Panel with ZeroBorder. The QM8K TV promises to revolutionize consumer viewing experiences by combining new panel technology with the picture accuracy of its Halo Control System, enhanced HDR impact from up to 35% more dimming zones, and up to 65% higher peak brightness compared to previous series. The Bang & Olufsen-equipped QM8K TV offers an immersive audio experience.
In addition to the QM8K, TCL has announced the introduction of its first party speakers and the new Q Class Q65H sound bar. The Q65H sound bar, a companion to TCL's TVs, delivers rich audio through a 5.1 Channel Dolby Atmos setup, complete with a wireless subwoofer for an immersive sound experience. TCL's new party speakers, the TP200K and TP300K, boast high-quality and full-featured designs, with large speaker drivers, high audio wattage, and a sleek IPX4 water-resistant cosmetic design offering stackability. Both models include a built-in rechargeable 12-hour battery and five lighting effects.
TCL has also teamed up with Dolby to launch FlexConnect for its 2025 QD-Mini LED TVs in the Precise Dimming Series, supporting Dolby Atmos FlexConnect on the QM8K, QM7K, and QM6K. The upcoming Z100 smart, panoramic sound speaker will pair with TCL's lineup of Dolby Atmos FlexConnect-enabled TVs, allowing customers to connect up to four Z100 speakers alongside TV speakers for a customized, immersive Dolby Atmos experience starting this summer.
The TCL QM8K Series, a flagship Mini-LED TV for 2025, offers several advanced features, including a native 144Hz refresh rate (enhanceable to 288Hz in 1080p resolution), HDR ULTRA support with Dolby Vision IQ, HLG, and HDR10+, and a new WHVA panel with ZeroBorder design for improved viewing angles. The QM8K also features an enhanced audio system developed by Bang & Olufsen, Dolby Atmos support, and robust gaming features like Game Accelerator 288 and FreeSync Premium Pro. The AiPQ Pro Processor offers advanced image quality tuning algorithms, while the TV also includes over 350 free artworks and AI-generated visuals for a personal art gallery experience and runs on Google TV for seamless smart TV functionality. Available in both 65-inch and 85-inch sizes, the QM8K Series can be purchased at participating retailers, starting at $2,499 for the 65-inch model.
