Syngenta Agro welcomes new management in government and public relations under the leadership of Gumpert.

Alina Gumpert has joined Syngenta Agro in a new role, effective from April 1. She is now the Head of Government and Public Affairs Germany, replacing Christopher Sieler who has moved to a global role within the Syngenta Group.

Gumpert's professional background includes leadership roles in various economic associations, with her previous engagements focusing on Berlin and Hamburg. Before joining Syngenta Agro, she served as the CEO of the German Agribusiness Alliance.

In her new role, Gumpert reports to Alain-Dominique Quintart, the Head of Government & Public Affairs Europe at Syngenta Agro, based in Brussels. Quintart is Gumpert's direct superior in her new position.

Christopher Sieler, who previously held the leadership of the Berlin office at Syngenta Agro, has been appointed as the Global Head of Political Engagement and Analysis of the Syngenta Group, effective June 2024. With his departure from the Berlin office, Isabel Fischer has taken over the role as the new head of the Berlin office and will also serve as Head of the Global Regulatory Services team within Syngenta.

The Berlin office at Syngenta Agro has a new leader in Alina Gumpert, who has taken over from Sieler. Sieler's departure from the Berlin office was to accommodate his new global role within the Syngenta Group.

With Gumpert's appointment, Syngenta Agro's Berlin office is under new leadership. Gumpert's extensive experience in economic associations and her tenure as the CEO of the German Agribusiness Alliance make her an excellent fit for her new role at Syngenta Agro.

Gumpert's new role at Syngenta Agro is not limited to public affairs in Germany; she will also be responsible for managing finance and business-related aspects, as she reports directly to Alain-Dominique Quintart, the Head of Government & Public Affairs Europe.

In light of her involvement in various economic associations and her previous position as the CEO of the German Agribusiness Alliance, Gumpert's expertise in technology can be expected to play a significant role in her new role at Syngenta Agro, particularly in relation to the intersection of technology and public affairs.
