Stand a Chance to Secure Rebelle 8 Pro in Digital Art Software's Decade Milestone Celebrations

In May 2015, Escape Motions unveiled Rebelle, a specialized watercolor simulation software. Ten years and 107 updates later, the program has evolved into a comprehensive piece of digital art software, renowned for its accurate emulation of various real-world media. To mark this significant milestone, Escape Motions is inviting artists and enthusiasts to join the 10th anniversary celebration with exclusive offers and a chance to preview the next major update: Rebelle 8 Pro.

Rebelle 8 is slated for release anywhere between July and September, and existing users have the opportunity to gain early access to experience new features and contribute to the final version's development. For those who purchase Rebelle 7 after May 28, 2025, an upgrade to the equivalent edition of Rebelle 8 will be offered for free.

Additionally, early access to Rebelle 8 Pro can be won by sharing Rebelle artwork, stories, or creative processes on social media using the hashtag #10YearsofRebelle. One lucky winner will be chosen on June 16 from public social media posts.

To sweeten the anniversary celebrations, Escape Motions is offering a 50% discount on all 170+ Rebelle art surfaces, which play a significant role in the software's authentic painting experience by enhancing brushstroke texture and pigment behavior.

Created by Slovakian artist Peter Blaškovič, Rebelle aimed to replicate the spontaneous, fluid nature of real watercolor paints in a digital format. Over the years, the software has expanded to emulate other media, including oils, acrylics, inks, and pencils, while offering lifelike pigment mixing and advanced water diffusion.

Last year's release, Rebelle 7, introduced shiny new metallic materials, and fans are excited about the potential improvements in Rebelle 8. As part of the 10th anniversary celebration, Escape Motions will be sharing behind-the-scenes previews of Rebelle 8, as well as interviews with developers, digital art surface designers, and long-time users throughout June. Users who have been with Rebelle since the beginning and have never missed an update will receive two paper sets as a gift. More information can be found on the Rebelle blog.
