Spring Innovation's driving force, the Federal Agency for Spring Innovation (SPRIND), is bolstered
The European Union Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet project, initiated by the German government, has welcomed a new addition to its team. Kevin Adlhoch, a recognised expert in digital identity and privacy, has joined the Federal Agency for Leap Innovations (SPRIND) as the Senior Communications Manager.
Adlhoch's role in the EUDI Wallet project is focused on communication and providing advice to the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI), which is leading the project. His expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies and trusted digital identity solutions will be instrumental in shaping the project's approach to secure, user-centric identity management.
Adlhoch started his role at SPRIND on April 1, joining a team that works on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). SPRIND provides support and advice to the BMI for the EUDI Wallet project's path to digital identity.
The EUDI Wallet project is not a new endeavour. It has been in progress for some time, with the aim of developing a European Digital Identity Wallet under the European Union's eID regulation. The project is not directly managed by the BMBF or BMWK, but SPRIND's work is closely related to their interests and objectives.
The EUDI Wallet project is a significant step towards enhancing digital identity solutions within the European Union. With Adlhoch's expertise on board, the project is poised to make strides in ensuring secure, privacy-focused, and user-friendly digital identity solutions for all EU citizens.
Data-and-cloud-computing technology plays a crucial role in the EUDI Wallet project, as Adlhoch's expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies will be essential for the secure and user-centric management of digital identities. Kevin Adlhoch, the new Senior Communications Manager at SPRIND, will utilize this technology to serve the EUDI Wallet project, working towards the development of a secure European Digital Identity Wallet under the European Union's eID regulation.
