Smart Boosts EV Lineup: New #1 Premium & #3 Brabus Models Arrive in September
Smart has bolstered its electric vehicle lineup with the addition of the Smart #1 Premium and Smart #3 Brabus models, set to hit local markets in September. The German-designed vehicles, influenced by Mercedes-Benz, now offer enhanced features and significant gold price reductions.
The Smart #1 Premium, priced at $54,990, boasts a 640 Watts Beats sound system, faster AC charging, matrix headlights, and leather upholstery, while retaining the same powertrain as the Pro+ variant. Meanwhile, the Smart #3 Brabus, now $69,990, packs a punch with a 315 kW drivetrain, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
Both models feature a 66 kWh battery pack, delivering ranges of 400 to 440 km. The Smart #1 Pro+ now starts at $47,990, with the Premium at $54,990, and Brabus at $62,990. The Smart #3 Pro+ is priced at $50,990, Premium at $57,990, and Brabus at $69,990. These price cuts represent savings of up to $10,000 in some states.
With these price reductions, Smart aims to make its electric vehicles more accessible to Australian buyers. The upcoming deliveries of the Smart #1 Premium and Smart #3 Brabus will further enrich the local EV market, joining other major automakers expected to introduce electric models in the future.
