Skoda's Enyaq RS Takes Electric SUV Market by Storm
Skoda's Enyaq RS, the latest addition to the Enyaq family, has taken the world market by storm. With over 22,000 registrations, a 132% increase, and a market share of 8.8% in July 2025, one in four new Skodas is now electrified. The Enyaq RS, priced from 58,600 euros, is set to continue Skoda's success in the electric vehicle sector.
The Enyaq RS, available in both SUV and coupe variants, offers a powerful 250 kW (340 PS) combined power output from its two electric motors. It boasts an impressive range of over 550 km and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes at fast-charging stations. The top model in the range, the Enyaq RS, comes with an adaptive chassis (DCC) and progressive steering for precise cornering and comfort.
Inside, the Enyaq RS features a large display and physical buttons for important functions, along with Skoda's signature Simply Clever details. The RS Lounge trim comes standard, featuring green contrast stitching, microfiber, and Alcantara. The Enyaq RS offers all-wheel drive and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. When compared to similar electric SUVs like the Tesla Model Y, VW ID.4 GTX, BMW iX1, and Mercedes EQA 4Matic, the Enyaq RS stands out with its sporty ride and powerful performance.
The Skoda Enyaq RS has proven to be a significant player in the electric SUV market. With its impressive performance, range, and charging capabilities, it's no surprise that it has contributed to Skoda's growing stock market share. The Enyaq RS is not only a testament to Skoda's commitment to electrification but also a strong competitor in the stock market today.
