Senegal's Digital Calendar Packed With Innovation Events in Late 2025

Senegal is gearing up for a packed digital calendar in late 2025. The Government has signed partnerships to support major events near me, with a focus on innovation, technology, and startup growth.

Kicking off the quarter is the first-ever Dakar SLUSH'D, an international event and startup fair, on October 9-10. This event is set to bring global attention to Senegal's burgeoning digital scene.

In alignment with the preparations for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, the Planetary Digital Olympic Village by ASED is under development. This project aims to leverage technology to enhance the event's impact.

From October 25 to November 5, Senegalese innovators will embark on a Learning Expedition to Montreal. This trip promises to expose local talent to international best practices and foster collaboration.

October also sees the return of SIPEN by OPTIC, a flagship event of Senegal's digital economy, on the 16-17th. This event will showcase the nation's digital prowess and attract investment.

The quarter closes with the Senegal Algorithms, Technology, and Innovation Fair (SALTIS) on November 25-26, followed by the NEXTEN Summit 2025 from December 3-5. The NEXTEN Summit aims to transform Africa's economy and technology sectors through AI and blockchain.

With these events near me, Senegal is positioning itself as a hub for digital innovation and investment in Africa. The Government's support, through partnerships and initiatives, is crucial in making this vision a reality.
