Sber and VK are implementing anti-fraud measures within the MAX messaging platform.
Sber, VK, and MAX are joining forces to bolster anti-fraud protection within the MAX messaging app. This collaboration aims to integrate Sber's cutting-edge anti-fraud technology and expertise, which will help identify and prevent suspicious transactions and calls within the app.
The partnership involves the execution of pilot projects, focusing on the development and testing of new tools designed for early detection of online fraud. These efforts are intended to significantly improve user security in MAX.
VK emphasises the strength of Sberbank's anti-fraud systems, which can identify individuals suspected of fraudulent activities in real-time, thereby preventing unauthorised actions. Sber's security systems are capable of detecting users under the influence of scammers and even pausing operations until funds are transferred securely.
The level of protection for messenger users is a key focus of this joint effort. VK developed Messenger MAX as a national alternative to foreign counterparts, and the company aims to provide its users with the same level of protection as bank clients. The operational service interaction is another aspect of the potential deep integration of technologies.
The anti-fraud teams from Sber, VK, and MAX are actively engaged in the pilot projects, working towards strengthening user protection against phone and online scammers. The results of these pilot projects will determine the extent of deep integration of technologies and the level of protection provided to messenger users.
