Samsung's Galaxy Z TriFold: First Tri-Fold Smartphone Unveiled Soon
Samsung is set to unveil its first tri-fold smartphone sooner than expected. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to hit the market with a hefty price tag of 4 million Korean Won ($3000) or approximately Rs 2,50,000 in India.
The upcoming device is rumoured to be launched at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in October, held this year in Gyeongju, South Korea. The website 'it-boltwise.de' hints at a possible introduction of the Galaxy Z TriFold during this event.
The Galaxy Z TriFold boasts a 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It offers up to 16GB RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. Running on Android 16 and Samsung's One UI 8.0, the phone features an impressive camera setup: a 200MP primary camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Its unique selling point is its tri-fold design, featuring two hinges that allow it to transform into a tablet, a phone, or a partially open device with a decently large screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, with its innovative tri-fold design and high-end specifications, is poised to make a splash in the smartphone market. Its expected launch at the APEC summit in October and the hefty price tag indicate Samsung's confidence in this groundbreaking device.
