Samruk-Kazyna Unveils SKAI, World's First AI Corporate Board Member
Samruk-Kazyna Fund has introduced SKAI, a groundbreaking digital member of a corporate board with voting rights. This AI network, the first of its kind in the region, is a significant step towards collaborative decision-making between humans and technology, enhancing corporate governance transparency and efficiency.
SKAI, operating on the supercomputer Al Farabium in a closed loop, ensures robust data protection. Developed based on the Kazakh language model Alem LLM, SKAI can analyze regulatory documents, board decisions dating back to 2008, and other internal materials. Alem LLM, the foundation of SKAI's digital independent membership, was created by the International Digital Bridge Forum in Astana.
The AI network's capabilities were recently presented to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Samruk-Kazyna Fund. SKAI's introduction marks a new era in corporate governance, promoting joint decision-making and increased transparency.
