Saga Communications Welcomes Gregg Sutherland to Board
Saga Communications, Inc. (SGA) has expanded its board to eight members with the appointment of Gregg Sutherland. Sutherland brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Buckman Laboratories and G2M Insights.
Sutherland, who holds an MBA from The Wharton School and is Board Director certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors, has served in various leadership capacities. He was previously Senior Partner at Ernst & Young and Chair of G2M Insights' Board of Advisors. Sutherland also held a position on the Board of Directors at Buckman Laboratories.
Saga's President and CEO, Chris Forgy, warmly welcomed Sutherland to the board. This appointment follows the addition of Michael Scafidi in 2025. Saga currently owns or operates broadcast properties in 28 markets, comprising 82 FM and 31 AM radio stations, and 79 metro signals. The company focuses on digital and other vertical initiatives, with a plan to reduce its board size back to seven in 2026.
Gregg Sutherland's appointment to Saga Communications' Board of Directors strengthens the company's leadership team. With his extensive experience and qualifications, Sutherland is expected to contribute significantly to Saga's ongoing growth and success.
