RingCentral AIR Lands in UK to Empower SMEs with AI-Driven Call Handling
RingCentral has introduced its AI Receptionist, RingCentral AIR, to the UK market. The service aims to support UK SMEs by reducing the burden of repetitive call-handling, allowing them to focus on growth. It comes at a time when SMEs face challenges due to rising minimum wages and employment taxes.
RingCentral AIR activates quickly and can be customized via the RingCentral portal. It handles 93% of incoming calls for early users like Integral Recruiting Services, saving about 12 hours each month. Every call generates a transcript for query visibility, compliance, and analytics. The service offers appointment booking, query resolution, and support for English and French. It can be deployed across different sites or departments from a single interface.
Launched eight months after its US debut, RingCentral AIR has seen rapid adoption in the UK. By the end of Q2 2025, it has over 3,000 customers, triple the number from Q1 2025. The AI Receptionist was designed to handle calls when out of the office or at call capacity, while managing costs for SMEs.
RingCentral AIR's UK launch is set to empower SMEs to grow sustainably by reducing the burden of role consolidation. With its quick implementation, high call-handling capacity, and cost management features, it addresses key challenges faced by UK SMEs in the current economic climate.
