RGB Spectrum collaborates with a US integration company to support public safety departments

The Clovis Police Department in California has recently implemented a new system, a Real Time Information Center (RTIC), thanks to a partnership between RGB Spectrum and Wildfire Technology. This innovative solution unifies surveillance, dispatch, and field operations data into a single, flexible visualization environment.

The collaboration between RGB Spectrum, known for its high-reliability video display and KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) processing technologies, and Wildfire Technology, renowned for its expert system design, integration, and support services, has resulted in a seamless and scalable approach.

Curt Fleming, the chief of police at Clovis Police Department, confirmed that the solution is giving their officers and dispatchers real-time visibility across the city, and it is already making a difference.

The partnership aims to deliver next-generation visualization and command solutions to public safety agencies worldwide. One of the key features of this collaboration is the integration of RGB Spectrum’s advanced video display and KVM processing technologies with Wildfire Technology’s expert system design, integration, and support services.

This integration creates customizable and intuitive control room environments that unify diverse data sources such as drones, traffic cameras, license plate readers, sensors, and dispatch systems into a single visual interface. For instance, the system can deploy cutting-edge hardware like a 14x 5.6-foot dvLED video wall with a 0.9mm pixel pitch and the Zio 4000 Series AV over IP processor, which supports multiple HDMI inputs, outputs, and up to 60 simultaneous IP video streams.

The partnership's approach is scalable and flexible, allowing agencies to tailor the system to their unique workflows and operational needs. This flexibility enhances real-time decision-making capabilities by providing actionable insight and visual command tailored for dispatchers, operators, and field personnel.

Public safety agencies benefit from improved operational visibility and responsiveness during critical incidents through seamless aggregation and display of real-time situational data. The system also offers greater interoperability across multiple agency systems for unified command and control.

The systems designed by this partnership are intuitive and reliable, aligning with public safety workflows, which reduces cognitive load and improves efficiency. Agencies can design their own mission view, enabling precise responses to evolving scenarios.

Examples of deployments, such as the Clovis Police Department’s RTIC, demonstrate the ability to handle complex, multi-source visual data environments efficiently.

Jason Dudley, president of Wildfire Technology Integration, stated the mission of the partnership is to help public safety teams succeed by designing intuitive, reliable, and workflow-focused systems. The partnership intends to set a new standard for real-time decision-making environments.

In conclusion, the RGB Spectrum and Wildfire Technology Integration partnership elevates public safety agencies’ ability to manage emergencies and daily operations by delivering next-generation visual intelligence and command environments that integrate advanced AV technology with expert system integration and support.
