RF Venue Launches Wireless Audio Kit for Satellite Speakers
RF Venue has introduced the RF P.A. Extension Kit, a wireless audio transmission system designed for satellite loudspeakers. The kit, priced at $1,999 MAP, includes a transmitter and two receivers. It offers two channels of high-quality audio, sending signals up to 450 feet.
The RF P.A. Extension Kit operates in the 470 to 506 megahertz UHF band using analog FM. It's powered by 12 VDC and outputs line-level audio. Each receiver has up to 800 milliseconds of built-in digital delay for time-alignment with the main P.A. The kit includes a rack-mount two-channel transmitter and a pair of single-channel receivers.
The system's frequency and delay can be configured at the receiver or set up at the transmitter and sent via a 2.4 gigahertz sync signal. It's weatherproof with an IP54 rating, making it suitable for outdoor use. Before its official shipment, the kit was tested at NFL's New Orleans Saints training camp, demonstrating its range and reliability.
