Red Sox Boost Visual Experience at Fenway Park with New LG Scoreboard System

Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox and the oldest stadium in Major League Baseball, has received an upgrade to its display solutions, courtesy of LG Electronics. The South Korean tech giant has installed a massive LED videoboard in centerfield, measuring 100 feet wide by 38 feet high, and covering nearly 3,800 square feet.

Accompanying the main LED display, LG delivered a comprehensive digital signage solution consisting of 11 installations. These screens expand across over 9,000 square feet, including a notable 1,850-square-foot ribbon board display. Equipped with High Dynamic Range technology, LG's displays offer a balance between bright and dark elements, providing exceptionally clear and lifelike imagery.

The installation was unveiled on Opening Day, April 4, allowing fans a firsthand experience of the vivid game action displayed on LG's LED signage. Reflecting a commitment to redefine fan experiences, LG has partnered with ANC, responsible for managing stadium operations and advertising for Fenway Sports Group, the Red Sox's owners. The alliance aims to deliver immersive entertainment to sports enthusiasts across the United States, starting with Boston.

LG's partnership with AMB Sports and Entertainment for the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and the integration of its technology into Atomic Golf, a massive entertainment complex in Las Vegas, exemplify the company's dedication to incorporating its advanced solutions into prominent sports venues.

According to Troup Parkinson, the Boston Red Sox's chief marketing and partnerships officer, "This collaboration will elevate the in-venue experience for our fans with cutting-edge technology while also expanding LG's presence through dynamic activations that will engage Red Sox Nation all season long."

Without disclosing specific terms of the partnership, LG expressed its excitement about fortifying partnerships with global sports franchises, promising to continue enriching customer spaces and providing unique media entertainment experiences.
