Red Cliff's Epic Showing Graced by Christie's Presence

In the heart of the Three Kingdoms Ancient Battlefield Scenic Area in Chibi Town, Xianning, Hubei Province, a new immersive cultural performance is set to captivate audiences. The production, titled "Red Cliff: Borrowing the East Wind", is a collaboration between Hubei Dingtu Culture and Tourism and multidisciplinary artist Luo Kege.

The installation of high-performance Christie HS Series 1DLP laser projectors has brought fresh vitality to the epic tale of the Battle of Red Cliff. Seven Christie DWU19-HS projectors are used in the production, each delivering visuals on the left citadel wall and the sails of a massive onstage warship.

Han Kim, VP of sales, Asia-Pacific, Christie, commended Jianye Display for their expertise and dedication in the meticulous planning and flawless execution of the project. Jianye Display's technical team implemented strict safety protocols for the high installation of projectors and subjected them to tests for dust, moisture, and unpredictable weather conditions. All DWU19-HS projectors underwent rigorous testing to ensure reliable long-term performance in the outdoor venue.

Advanced 3D simulation was used by Jianye Display to calculate projection angles and positioning, ensuring a perfect fusion of light, shadow, and storytelling in the production. The iconic scenes and characters from the Battle of Red Cliff are brought to life with extraordinary realism, offering a fresh cultural tourism experience at the historic site.

Jianye Display showcased the full potential of the DWU19-HS projectors in "Red Cliff: Borrowing the East Wind", demonstrating how technology and creativity can work hand-in-hand to elevate cultural tourism.
