Rabbitcreek Launches Innovative Tide Clock for Surfers and Beachgoers

Rabbitcreek has introduced an innovative tide clock that provides real-time tide height data. This unique device, unlike others, doesn't influence the tides but helps users track them with ease.

The clock's brains are the Xiao ESP32 S3 microcontroller and the NOAA API, which fetch up-to-date tide height data. The mechanism to display this information is a servo that rotates a Moon indicator around a central Earth model. This visual representation makes it easy to understand the tidal state at a glance.

The mathematical model used to predict tides, which this clock employs, was developed in the late 19th century by Sir William Thomson, also known as Lord Kelvin. While other tide clocks exist, none have the capability to influence the tides themselves.

Rabbitcreek's tide clock is a practical tool for surfers and beach drivers who need to know the tidal state quickly. It doesn't control the tides but offers a user-friendly way to keep track of them.
