Puro.earth Launches MyPuro 2.0 for Faster, Efficient Carbon Removal Certification
Puro.earth has launched MyPuro 2.0, a refined platform designed to streamline carbon dioxide removal (CDR) certification. The new platform aims to make the process of certifying high-quality, science-backed carbon removal credits efficient and seamless.
MyPuro 2.0 introduces several improvements to enhance the user experience and increase efficiency. It enables API connections and notifications, providing faster access to high-quality carbon removal certificates (CORCs) for buyers. The platform aims to reduce the time-to-market for verified carbon removal credits by strengthening supplier workflows and compliance requirements.
The integration of Alcove in MyPuro 2.0 allows Puro.earth’s network of over 360 carbon removal suppliers to access API connections, notification systems, and deeper ecosystem integration. This supports supplier workflows and facilitates audit sharing between Puro.earth and third parties. The platform also offers a simplified process for CDR suppliers to upload documentation with clear instructions.
Puro.earth president Jan-Willem Bode stated that the goal of MyPuro 2.0 is to make the certification process efficient and seamless. The platform maintains Puro.earth's rigorous review approach, ensuring high-quality standards. In future updates, Puro.earth plans to introduce high-frequency credit issuance and dMRV system integration.
MyPuro 2.0 is set to migrate over the next few months, unveiling more granular features for a more polished tool. With its enhanced features and streamlined processes, the platform is poised to facilitate faster and more efficient carbon removal certification.
