Porsche Unveils Taycan Cross Turismo: Rugged Electric Estate Now on Sale
Porsche has unveiled the Taycan Cross Turismo, a ruggedised, estate-style version of its electric sports car. The new model is now on sale in the UK and will arrive in the summer.
The Cross Turismo stands out with a protective body kit and raised suspension, making it capable of off-road use. It features a unique driving mode for gravel and mud tracks, and an adaptive air suspension that adjusts based on speed.
The range starts with the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo at £79,340, offering 375bhp and a 0-62mph time of 5.1 seconds. The 4 S variant starts at £87,820 with 483bhp and a quicker 4.1-second acceleration. Top models, the Turbo and Turbo S, start at £116,950 and £139,910 respectively, boasting up to 751bhp and a sub-3.0-second 0-62mph time. All Cross Turismos come with a 93.4kWh battery, promising up to 283 miles of range, and benefit from the car's 800v electrical system for rapid charging.
Compared to the standard Taycan, the Cross Turismo offers more rear headroom and luggage space, thanks to its extended roofline.
