Pioneering the Car Manufacturing Industry: Aiming to Reinvent the Automotive Future

In a groundbreaking move, Toyota's Monozukuri Workshop is revolutionizing the future of car production. This holistic approach combines advanced digital tools, robotics, self-propelled cars, innovative casting, and entrepreneurial innovation to push the boundaries of automotive manufacturing.

At the heart of this transformation are the skills of the craftspeople, which live on in the giga casting technology at the Myochi Plant. This technology, expected to vastly improve productivity, simplifies vehicle structures, improves strength, and reduces manufacturing time and cost.

The Teiho Plant, on the other hand, is leveraging digital tools to transfer skills and implement karakuri in production. Notably, the plant's workers have developed equipment and facilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to the monozukuri spirit.

The Teiho Plant also houses a new facility called Start Up Studio, which supports carmaking with a venture spirit.
