Oberberg & Gummersbach Become EV-Friendly with New Fast-Charging Stations

The region around Oberberg and Gummersbach is becoming more electric vehicle (EV) friendly. AggerEnergie has expanded its public charging network to 29 points, while Gummersbach has opened its first test-charging stations.

Gummersbach's new stations, located on the Steinmüller site, offer 50 kW power output. This allows an empty battery to charge up to 80% within an hour. Payment is convenient with a credit card or customer card, with prices varying based on charging power and user type. Notably, all charging stations use renewable energy exclusively.

Besides Gummersbach, cities like Waldbröl and Bergneustadt in the Oberberg district also boast test charging stations. These can typically handle 2 to 4 vehicles simultaneously.
