Nothing Expands in India, Launches CMF as Independent Subsidiary
Nothing, the consumer tech company, has announced a significant expansion in India. The company will establish an independent subsidiary, CMF, which can operate separately from Nothing. This move includes the launch of new products and a manufacturing partnership.
CMF, previously known as CMF by Nothing, can now function as a distinct entity. The brand has already introduced two phones, CMF Phone 1 and CMF Phone 2 Pro, along with a range of accessories. Notably, CMF is set to unveil the CMF Headphone Pro on 29 September.
Nothing plans to broaden its headphone range soon, indicating a focus on audio products. To facilitate this growth, the company has partnered with Optiemus Infracom for manufacturing in India. This strategic move aims to make India the central hub for production, benefiting both Nothing and CMF products.
CMF's products are renowned for their unique design and vibrant colour schemes, appealing to consumers seeking distinctive devices.
Nothing's expansion into India with CMF as an independent subsidiary signals a commitment to the market. Despite the change, Nothing maintains its vision of offering design-led devices at affordable prices. With a new manufacturing partner and upcoming product launches, the company looks poised for growth in the region.
