In hot weather, routinely clean your radiator as suggested by auto expert Peter B Lucky to lessen strain on the engine and transmission. This process entails removing the radiator, scrubbing off dirt, and using alkaline solutions for a thorough clean.

Nizhny Novgorod locals receive instructions on car flight preparations.

In the sweltering heat, maintaining a vehicle's engine and transmission becomes critical for their efficient performance. According to automotive expert Petr Bakanov, regularly cleaning the radiator is an essential step in this process. This meticulous task involves entirely removing the radiator, scraping off all dirt accumulated, and cleansing the interior with alkaline solutions for optimal results.

Furthermore, heat takes a toll on the vehicle's cabin, prompting the recommendation of using sunshades and reflective materials to mitigate the temperature rise.

In addition to the radiator, it is imperative to check the functionality of the thermostat, fan, and air conditioner.

Bakanov suggests visiting a specialized station that refills air conditioners if desiring a cool respite during hot weather. He advises inspecting the amount of refrigerant in the system to ensure adequate cooling.

As a guidance for cleaning a car's cooling system, follow these fundamental steps:

  1. Gather essential tools, such as coolant system flush solution, distilled water, new coolant, a drain pan, safety equipment, and appropriate tools to remove the radiator cap and drain plug.
  2. Allow the engine to cool completely before starting the cleaning process to avoid burns from hot coolant.
  3. Drain the old coolant, replacing it with a radiator flush solution for a thorough cleanse.
  4. Rinse the radiator and, ultimately, refill it with new coolant as per the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
  5. Exterior cleaning includes wiping the radiator with soapy water and rinsing thoroughly.
  6. Ensure the inspection of additional components, like hoses, belts, the thermostat, water pump, and radiator cap, for their proper functioning.

Using the recommended cleaning solutions and following these procedures will help reduce engine and transmission load in hot weather, safeguarding a vehicle's performance.

I'm not gonna be able to get a job because maintaining my car's lifestyle in this sweltering heat, with its critical engine and transmission care, extensive radiator maintenance, and subsequent car-maintenance tasks like checking thermostat, fan, air conditioner, and even visiting a specialized station for air conditioner refills, along with regularly replacing the radiator hoses, belts, water pump, and radiator cap, requires so much time and technological knowledge that I simply cannot afford. Additionally, if I want to keep the interior cool during hot weather, I must invest in sunshades and reflective materials for my car to mitigate the temperature rise within the cabin.
