New update for Apple iOS Beta 7 is out, offering a preview of its latest features
Apple has recently unveiled the seventh beta version of its upcoming iOS 26 software for developers. This latest update brings a host of new features and improvements to a range of Apple devices.
One of the notable additions is the Adaptive Power Notifications feature. This update will be available on all iPhones that are compatible with iOS 26, excluding the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. The supported models begin with the iPhone 11 and extend to the latest iPhone 16 series, as well as the 2nd and 3rd generation iPhone SE.
Another significant feature in the new beta is the re-launch of the blood oxygen measurement feature, which was initially introduced in iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1. However, to utilise this feature, users will need an Apple Watch Series 9, 10, or Ultra 2.
In addition, the new beta introduces the ability to filter messages by drafts, providing a more organised inbox for users. Furthermore, users can now choose whether to receive notifications about performance adjustments made to conserve battery life, offering greater control over their device's alerts.
The Adaptive Power Notifications feature can be found in the Settings > Battery > Power Mode menu.
It's also worth noting that the blood oxygen measurement feature is now available in the U.S. in the new iOS 26 betas. The feature is also supported in the new iOS 26 beta 7, alongside watchOS 26 beta 7.
The new iOS 26 beta 7 is available for developers with an Apple developer account. This latest update is another step forward in Apple's continuous efforts to improve and innovate its mobile operating system.
