The Xiaomi Redmi 15C is making waves in the budget smartphone market. It boasts a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. With 4 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging, it's a steal at around $179. A 5G variant is also available. Xiaomi's 15T, a 'flagship-lite' device, offers a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, 12 GB RAM, and a 5,500 mAh battery, starting at about $760.

Samsung's Galaxy A17 4G, priced at $185, caters to those who don't need 5G. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G99 processor, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

Google's September 2025 System Updates bring exciting new features. These include a real-time multi-page document scanner, expanded Gboard AI writing tools, and a refreshed Quick Share menu for Android phones and tablets.

DJI's Osmo Nano, a tiny modular action camera system weighing just 52 g, records 4K video at up to 120 fps. Priced from $309, it's a compelling option for action enthusiasts. The developer of DJI's latest action camera system, released in September 2025, remains unknown.

In the app world, Swipefy stands out. This music discovery app uses a Tinder-style swiping mechanism to add songs to a playlist.
