New Entry Editor Update Brings Interactive Shortcodes for Easier Content Creation

A new update to the Entry Editor introduces dynamic and interactive shortcodes, making content creation more flexible and efficient. Users can now upload PDFs, images, and add product reviews with ease.

The Entry Editor now supports a PDF shortcode, similar to the existing image shortcode. Users can upload PDFs and add titles directly from an editable pop-up. Additionally, users can dynamically add fields, widgets, and custom components to articles based on their input selections.

Product reviews can be added seamlessly with an editable pop-up that allows users to input product details and select a review rating dynamically. Shortcode field elements can be defined with Attribute Name, Field Label, and Type, providing users with clear instructions. Variables can be used within embed code to customize embedded content directly from the Entry Editor.

The image shortcode has been enhanced with configuration options in the Editorial Module Dashboard, allowing users to upload and title images directly from the Entry Editor. Dynamic input sources for shortcodes can be defined, enabling them to adapt based on data fetched from external systems. Text and buttons within shortcodes can be customized directly through a user-friendly pop-up interface in the Entry Editor.

The Entry Editor's new interactive shortcodes offer users a streamlined and intuitive content creation experience. Editors can now adjust button text, links, and descriptive text within shortcodes without manual editing, saving time and effort. These updates aim to improve the overall user experience and efficiency in content production.
