### The Interplay of Gaze and Mouse in Virtual Environments

Advanced gaze estimation models in VR rely on temporal sequences of eye images to improve accuracy, significantly reducing gaze estimation errors. However, a common challenge in VR is head-mounted display (HMD) slippage, which impacts gaze tracking precision. Researchers are addressing this by integrating depth information and transformer-based cross-modal attention to make gaze estimation more robust.

Multimodal input systems are also being developed, combining eye tracking, hand gestures, and voice commands to create hands-free virtual mouse controls. These improvements enhance the richness and usability of interactions in VEs.

### Comparing Gaze Behavior in Virtual and Real Environments
