Navigating the Highway of Sounds | Groundbreaking Audio Discourse on Music Innovation
Paul Bradley, a former drummer, band manager, and promoter, is the CEO and Founder of Eventric, a company that has become the "industry standard" for touring and live event technologies. Based in Chicago, Eventric provides innovative tour management software specifically designed for the live event and touring industries.
Bradley's journey into tour management began in the early 1990s, when he started promoting concert events under HW Productions. He later moved into band management and tour operations, developing databases on a Compaq computer using Filemaker software to streamline the complex logistics involved in managing live tours.
In 1995, Bradley began touring in a management and advisory capacity with various nationally recognized artists, including the Dave Matthews Band and The Drovers. These experiences provided valuable insights that would later inform the development of Eventric's tour management software system.
Eventric was officially formed by Bradley in 2009. Over the years, the company has grown to employ 15 people and has powered over 1,000,000 live events through its core products, Master Tour and Live Access. Major Eventric clients include Red Bull, Marvel, The Black Keys, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Metallica, Wilco, Zac Brown Band, and The Who.
The software developed by Bradley and his team addresses the pain points of traditional tour management, streamlining and simplifying the myriad tasks involved in running a live event tour. By automating and centralizing functions such as schedules, travel logistics, accommodations, budgets, communications, and on-the-fly changes, Eventric's platform improves efficiency, reduces errors, and enhances communication among all parties involved (artists, managers, crew, venues, and vendors).
This innovation has transformed how tours are planned and executed, enabling smoother operations, cost savings, and more reliable delivery of live events. As a result, Eventric has become an influential player in modernizing the live event industry’s back-end management, helping tours of all sizes run more professionally and with greater logistical clarity.
In addition to his work with Eventric, Bradley is a board advisor for Foundations of Music in Chicago and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He also offers advice on entering the touring business for young people passionate about the live event space.
