Multichannel Video Performance Metrics Shift to iSpot under GSTV Agreement
HOOKED UP: GSTV Teams Up with iSpot for Revolutionary Out-of-Home Audience Measurement
DETROIT-GSTV, the nation's go-to video network for fuel retailers, has teamed up with iSpot, a trailblazing cross-platform TV measurement company, to revolutionize the way they track and understand their audiences.
This "first-of-its-kind" collaboration is set to harness iSpot's cutting-edge Unified Measurement solution to quantify the standout reach that GSTV provides advertisers, surpassing traditional linear and OTT campaigns. By joining forces, the duo aims to integrate GSTV's network of screens located beyond the home into iSpot's Outcomes measurement solution.
The partnership will enable advertisers to dissect and analyze the contributions of the network to critical business KPIs, such as foot traffic and sales.
"GSTV’s advertisers have long understood the power of `Newtonian advertising'—influencing consumers while they're on-the-go has a significant impact on business outcomes," says Eric Z. Sherman, GSTV's Executive Vice President of Insights and Analytics. "iSpot's independent, third-party measurement will help our partners grasp the true magnitude of the opportunity, quantifying the incremental reach GSTV delivers, as they team up with the network to amplify their linear and CTV campaigns."
This measurement deal will also grant GSTV the power to deliver measurement, reporting, and audience insights from more than 29,000 locations to their clients. This shall empower advertisers to understand the true impact of GSTV ads compared to other ad platforms, channels, and networks their campaigns may appear on.
For instance, a recent study conducted by GSTV and IPG MAGNA revealed that video ads on GSTV propelled a staggering 12% more foot traffic into Applebee’s restaurants. When paired with Connected TV and digital ads, video ads at gas pumps drove an even larger increase in foot traffic to Applebee’s—a whopping 22% and 27%, respectively, according to GSTV.
Alex Freed, iSpot's Vice President of Partnerships, expresses his excitement about partnering with GSTV: "We're pumped to partner with GSTV to lead the charge in DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) measurement. We believe that iSpot's Unified Measurement across platforms will allow GSTV to illuminate the value of their extensive network to their customers, offering brands the opportunity to drive positive business outcomes and simultaneously granting brands and agencies the means to engineer the finest content experiences for these engaged consumers, who are often merely steps away from a point of sale."
Stay tuned for the next wave in out-of-home audience measurement, and watch as GSTV and iSpot redefine the boundaries of advertising impact!
