Molex has bolstered its aerospace and defence division with the integration of AirBorn's portfolio. This strategic move, facilitated by Arrow Electronics, is set to expand the reach of high-reliability interconnect solutions across global markets.

Arrow Electronics, a key supplier to the global aerospace and defence industry, has added AirBorn, a Molex company, to its North American and EMEA IP&E components portfolio. This collaboration aims to strengthen Arrow's role in the sector and provide customers with innovative, high-reliability interconnect solutions.

AirBorn, with its seven global manufacturing facilities, brings a wealth of experience to the table. The company specialises in connectors, cable assemblies, military-grade flexible circuits, and high-level box builds, serving defence, aerospace, commercial air, space exploration, medical, and industrial markets. Mike Cole, senior vice-president at Molex, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the potential to expand these solutions for customers.
