But given their undying loyalty to outdated tech, Nvidia has finally waved the white flag and removed the requirement. This means even the likes of the Core 2 Duo can install these drivers without a fuss, even pairing it up with monstrosities like an RTX 5K series graphics card (if that's your thing).

Here's how you can do it:

1. First, make sure you've got the latest NVIDIA driver installed. You can grab it from the official NVIDIA website. Version 576.40 or later is what you're after for compatibility with older CPUs.
2. Next, ensure Windows 10 is running smoothly on your system. Given Windows 11 still demands POPCnt support for stability, you might want to skip that for now. If you're already on Windows 11, you may have to take the time to downgrade back to Windows 10 to avoid any gnarly crashes.
3. Install the RTX 5K graphics card and connect your monitor.
