The Miri X510 is a versatile device that can bond 4G LTE and 5G connections, making it an ideal solution for various industries, including public safety, emergency management, retail, hospitality, live-event streaming, and remote production. Unlike dedicated video contribution systems, the X510 is not limited to delivering video and audio and isn't tied to any particular codec or streaming protocol. It supports any type of data from financial transactions to live streams in any current or future format.
One of the standout features of the X510 is its Pair & Share function, which, when used on the Miri X510, can increase bandwidth on devices like the Miri X510. This feature was demonstrated effectively in locations such as Wi-Fi-congested convention centers and rural fields.
The X510 is equipped with two SIM slots, two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and two USB ports. To ensure seamless connectivity even if one internet connection fails, the X510 features automatic failover.
Miri Chief Technology Officer, Ryan Brenneman, stated that the X510 was designed with the challenges of live-event streaming and remote production in mind. He further added that the X510 has already been used for a live stream to hundreds of thousands of social media viewers, showcasing its potential and reliability.
