German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz is gearing up for a significant product rollout in the coming years, with a focus on electrification and the launch of up to 18 new models in 2026 alone.

The brand is planning to introduce four petrol/diesel cars and five electric models in 2026, followed by five electric models in 2027. This aggressive strategy is part of Mercedes' aim to have at least 50% of its sales be fully electric or plug-in hybrid by 2030.

Among the upcoming models, the compact electric crossovers GLA and GLB, slated for 2025, are expected to cater to urban drivers seeking efficiency and sustainability. In 2027, the much-anticipated fully electric GLC SUV is set to debut, featuring a new "sensual purity" design language and an advanced infotainment system with Mercedes' Hyperscreen dashboard.

In the core segment, including the GLC, Mercedes-Benz plans to offer both refreshed combustion-engine versions and new fully electric variants in 2026. By 2027, a dedicated electric platform is expected to deepen electrification efforts.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA and CLA Shooting Brake will also be introduced in both ICE and electric drivetrain options in 2026-27. Two new entry models, likely the new-generation GLA and GLB, are planned to be introduced during this period.

The highly anticipated "Baby G-Class" is among the models lined up by Mercedes, promising an exciting addition to the SUV lineup.

In addition to these updates, facelifts of flagship models like the S-Class in 2026 and AMG SL and GT in 2027 are part of this update wave. The Mercedes-Benz GLE, AMG EQS, S-Class, AMG E53, and G-Class are currently available models with their respective specifications and prices.

The new-generation CLA is expected to be the first of the upcoming models to make its way to the Indian market, with the price of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric estimated at ₹ 65 Lakhs. The Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric is already listed on the India website, suggesting it may be coming to India soon.

A super SUV sharing the same underpinnings as the new CLA is also expected. Mercedes-Benz is also rumoured to be working on several AMG performance EVs and a super sedan, previewed as the GT XX Concept.

This ambitious product rollout from Mercedes-Benz is a clear indication of the brand's commitment to electrification and the future of sustainable mobility. Stay tuned for more updates as these exciting new models make their way to showrooms.

The Mercedes-Benz brand is not only focusing on launching up to 18 new models in 2026, but also intends to introduce five electric models in 2027, demonstrating their commitment to accelerating electrification efforts within the automotive industry. In the realm of finance and technology, the company is developing advanced infotainment systems, such as the Hyperscreen dashboard seen in the upcoming fully electric GLC SUV, which is expected to revolutionize the transportation sector.
