Meet Amate Coffee Farm: Award-Winning, Eco-Friendly Coffee in Dresden

Meet Anne Bauer and Efrain Lechuga, the couple behind 'Amate Coffee Farm' at Dresden Neumarkt. Despite not yet drawing salaries from their business, they're passionate about sharing their award-winning, eco-friendly coffee with Saxons. A cup costs €4.50, best enjoyed black to savour its unique aroma.

Anne and Efrain's coffee journey began with their family-owned plantation in Mexico. The coffee is harvested annually and roasted in Milan to maintain its purity. Their dedication has earned them prestigious awards like 'Cup of Excellence' and Mexican coffee prizes. The couple's unique growing method, under various jungle trees, preserves the ecosystem, making their coffee exclusive and noble, much like champagne.

Saxons, known for their love of coffee, can enjoy Amate coffee at €4.50 per cup, often paired with a piece of cake. Despite its premium price, a kilogram costs €70, affordable even for Michelin-starred restaurants.

Anne and Efrain's Amate Coffee Farm brings a taste of Mexico to Dresden. Their award-winning, eco-friendly coffee is a rare treat for Saxons, offering a unique aroma and a touch of luxury. Despite the couple not yet drawing salaries, their passion for coffee and sustainability is evident in every cup.
