Ah, another Mercedes-AMG One made a headline this week, and we're speculating it's more drama than donuts in Germany. We gotta admit, the details are scarce as sushi rice, but we're quite convinced this isn't a marketing ploy for a blockbuster action sequence.

The Exclusive Car Registry has captured several snaps of the whip prior to the conflagration, alongside some production tidbits about the car itself. It's all crowdsourced, so a pinch of salt is essential, but we'd put our money on that vinyl wrap being a snappy shade of Emerald Green Metallic before the smoke turned it into a curvy, smoked salmon. The vehicle boasts a 2023 tag. And with a current description as pointed as a porcupine, we're only reading those two powerful words: "Burnt down."

Multiple pictures, a German license plate, and obvious Feuerwehr markings (that's German for "Fire Department") suggest this crime scene unfolded in Germany.

Indeed, indeed.

The Mercedes-AMG One hasn't had a clean run. Back in 2023, another piece of this hypercar ice sculpture went up in flames within a transporter, leaving nothing but a steaming pile of ashes, punctuated by exotic engine components.

Get this: Designing a road-worthy Formula 1 beast was a demanding task for AMG. Mercedes were trying to marry a street car's fashion with a Formula 1 powertrain – a turbulent affair that led to an extended development time of almost a year[1][3].

Think about it, only 275 of these Beast-mobiles were produced[3]. That means the odds of your baby-beambo burning to a crisp are still less than 1 in 100. Sounds like a gamble most gearheads would gladly take!
