Luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari introduces its latest model: the Amalfi V8 coupe, boasting a sleek design that seamlessly combines sophistication with power.
Ferrari Unveils the Amalfi: A New Era of Grand Touring
Ferrari has recently introduced its latest masterpiece, the Amalfi, a vehicle that promises to deliver both luxury and high-performance in equal measure. The Amalfi, a successor to the Roma, aims to be more than just a showpiece; it's designed to be a usable daily driver as well.
Under the hood, the Amalfi houses a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of producing an impressive 471kW at 7500rpm. This powerhouse delivers an unmistakable Ferrari snarl and propels the Amalfi from 0 to 100km/h in a swift 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 320km/h.
The Amalfi's engine is equipped with a redesigned silencer setup and equal-length headers, contributing to its distinctive exhaust note. The transmission system is an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, inherited from the SF90 Stradale, ensuring smooth and swift shifts.
The Amalfi's exterior is sculpted with clean surfaces, sharp lines, a long bonnet, and a floating wing up front, giving it a striking appearance. Ferrari offers an optional front lifter that raises the nose by 40mm at speeds up to 35km/h, ensuring urban sorties are more manageable.
Inside, the Amalfi's cabin follows suit with the premium materials and tech found in its predecessor. Dual cockpits, premium materials, and tech galore, including three displays and tactile physical buttons on the steering wheel, create a luxurious and high-tech atmosphere.
The Amalfi's developers have focused on dynamics and comfort, implementing a brake-by-wire system, 'ABS Evo' controller, and recalibrated electric power steering. An active rear spoiler adjusts to offer low drag on straights and extra downforce in the corners, providing 110kg of downforce at 250km/h.
The Amalfi's rear seats offer genuine day-to-day versatility, making it suitable for more than just weekend drives. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and optional surround view cameras are included in the Amalfi's tech arsenal, ensuring a safe and comfortable driving experience.
The Amalfi is launched in a striking Verde Costiera colour, embodying Ferrari's commitment to style and elegance. With its perfect blend of luxury, tech, and track-honed performance, the Ferrari Amalfi is poised to set a new standard in the world of grand touring.
