Hubstaff Announces Enhanced Workforce Management Tools for 2025
Hubstaff, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, has unveiled its latest offerings for 2025. The updates include new features, pricing adjustments, and plan changes designed to streamline scheduling, tracking, and global payroll integration.
New Features
The new features include a Calendar Feature for optimizing team workforce management, Location Tracking for automated time tracking based on employee location, Project Management via Hubstaff Tasks, and integration with Deel for global payroll and compliance.
The Calendar Feature enables scheduling, forecasting, and managing absences. Location Tracking uses GPS and geofenced job sites to automatically start and stop timers. Hubstaff Tasks is a Kanban-style tool for creating and organizing projects, assigning tasks, setting due dates, and managing budgets. The integration with Deel facilitates global payroll and compliance.
Pricing Updates and Plans
Hubstaff's pricing is tiered from free to enterprise levels with increasing features and support suited for growing teams and compliance needs. The plans and their key features are as follows:
- Free: Basic time tracking and activity tracking for one user.
- Starter: Time tracking, timesheets, limited screenshots, reports, and basic payments for $7 per user/month.
- Grow/Pro: Includes Starter features plus reports, one integration, idle timeout, project budgets, work breaks, expenses, Hubstaff Tasks, and email support for $9 per user/month.
- Team: Adds unlimited app & URL tracking, auto discard idle time, payments & payroll, unlimited integrations, time off & holidays, scheduling, client budgets, timesheet approvals, chat support, and is priced at $12 per user/month.
- Enterprise: Includes all lower tiers plus higher API limits, bank debit (ACH), HIPAA & SOC-2 Type II compliance, enterprise deployment, single sign-on (SSO), assigned account rep, advanced support, and location tracking for $25 per user/month.

Use Cases

Transition Details
Customers will receive an email 21 days prior to their plan transition. Most customers will be transitioning to the new Team plan. The transition of customers to their respective plans will occur throughout the year. Customers can view the plans on their own and make changes before the automatic transition if they choose to.
The Team plan offers top-tier support, including 24/5 live chat and a 24-hour email reply time. Customers on older Premium plans using location features will have the new Locations add-on selected by default in the transition to their new plan. The Locations add-on costs $4 per user/month and can be removed at any time.
The new pricing plans at Hubstaff are bundled with features, add-ons, and discounted annual pricing. The Team plan has no feature limits for tracking, apps, URLs, scheduled reports, clients, or tasks.
Hubstaff Tasks
The Team plan includes Hubstaff Tasks, offering built-in project management tools, Kanban and timeline views, checklists, comments, labels, due dates, and more. Project management features now allow for the automatic creation and sending of client invoices, importing of projects, clients, members, and Job sites.
Mobile App Redesign
Hubstaff has redesigned its mobile app, allowing users to track time, create projects and tasks, and view reports on the go.
Hubstaff Insights
The Team plan includes Hubstaff Insights, offering categorization of apps & URLs, employee utilization metrics, focus and meeting time widgets, activity change alerts, smart notifications, and suspicious activity detection.
Hubstaff is implementing a pricing update to reflect its improved feature set. The new pricing and plans will take effect soon. Customers will receive a 30-day notice before they are automatically moved to their new plan.
