Introducing Layout & Design Tool for Streamlined Ad Management
A new feature, the Layout & Design Tool, has been introduced to streamline ad management using Google Ads. It enables A/B testing of header codes and offers full control over monetization strategy. However, it's not yet fully optimized for Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP), which may lead to errors.
The Layout & Design Tool allows A/B testing of header codes using URL query parameters. This means you can compare the performance of different ad codes simultaneously. To run ads, simply place the header code provided by your ad network within the tag. The tool also permits the creation of multiple ad templates, and specific ad configurations can be shared on social media.
The Top Bar is the recommended location for an Ad Header Code element for site-wide application. However, it's important to note that this feature is not yet fully optimized for AMP. This may cause errors when using it on iCloud or Apple pages.
The Layout & Design Tool is a significant addition for managing ads with Google Ads. It offers A/B testing, full control over monetization, and the creation of multiple ad templates. However, its use on Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) is currently limited and may cause errors. Users are advised to be cautious when implementing this feature on AMP pages.
